Job Summary: Provides application support to E-Business end-users including application troubleshooting, custom development, application testing and application maintenance. Supports application development through all cycles of implementation. Incumbents of this position must be U.S. Citizens

These are the skills it takes to be a Computer Systems Analyst. As a Computer Systems Analyst at NEXCOM, you would provide support for a variety of applications. This includes issue troubleshooting and resolution, application testing, automated testing, business requirements gathering and release planning. You would interact directly with the business end-user to ensure your assigned application meets business needs and functions as designed. NEXCOM is headquarters for the worldwide NEXCOM Enterprise. Benefits of employment include: • Annual Leave - 13 days per year during the first 3 years of service • Sick Leave - 13 days per year with unlimited carry over year-to-year. • Company Matched 401k • Retirement plan • Optional Compressed Work Schedule and Telework Duties and Responsibilities: - Develops application related documentation for E-Business (i.e. Test scenarios/scripts, test plans, design documents, instructional documents) - Coordinates and facilitates design reviews with E-Business end users and programming personnel. - Ensures compliance with configuration management standards and guidelines (i.e. Version control, release management). - Reports and tracks all E-Business testing processes and software related issues. - Provides application impact analysis for all E-Business related software releases, patches and custom development. - Monitors and resolve service desk requests within the timeframe established based upon NEXCOM's SLAs. - Participates in design reviews with end users and programming personnel to define application specific requirements as key inputs into detailed design specifications. - Develops and execute test scripts within all functional testing cycles (unit, applications, user acceptance, integration, capacity, and dress rehearsal capacity) in cooperation will end users. - Analyzes and recommend fixes/enhancements to e-commerce/web-based applications as well as support release management/upgrades. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving applications issues. - Provides level 1 end user support to information system users. Identify and, where possible, correct the problem. - Works with all team members, technical and functional, to meet objectives. Maintain communication with team members and team leaders. - Communicates to lead, supervisor, or manager all issues affecting the end user. - Insures compliance with established version control standards. - Performs other related duties as assigned.

This position is designated IT-2 (Non-critical Sensitive) in accordance with SECNAV M-5510.30 and will require a favorable Access National Agency Check and Inquiries (ANACI). Qualifications: Qualified candidates must be U.S. Citizens GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience performing general work in an Information System environment. OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: One year of academic study above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience up to a maximum of a 4 year bachelor's degree for 3 years of general experience. AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience in the following: Documenting requirements;developing test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts;performing functional and integration testing;use of standard development processes, operating systems, database languages, and programming languages and tools Job: Applications Systems
