Network Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Analyze local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices. Resolve interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms, including e–mail, files transfer, multimedia, and teleconferencing. Manage the internetworking of various operating systems, including Windows NT and 95 and one or more versions of UNIX across both LAN and WAN. Monitor the performance and stability of networks. Configure systems to user environments. Support the acquisition of hardware, software, and subcontractor services, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with network administration

-3+ years of experience with IT network design and deployment

-2+ years of experience with enterprise networks

-Experience with maintaining critical world–wide communications systems

-Experience with applying STIGs

-TS/SCI clearance required

-BA or BS degree

-Cisco CCNA Certification

-IAT Level II Certification requirements required

Additional Qualifications:

-MCSA or MCSE Windows Server Certification

-MCSA or MCSE Windows Certification


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
