Job Title Product Design Engineer I/II

o Key contribuor to engineering development for new platform fuel modules & related components in worldwide applications & markets
o Able to conduct work with minimal guidance and supervision, and to balance multiple projects
o Maintain high level of communication internally, across cultures, and outside the company
o Define and manage laboratory characterization and qualification testing
o Up to 10% travel to Europe/Asia in support of customer programs
o Ensure functional and operational requirements are properly understood, documented, and fulfilled within a concept, design, or application.
o Generate and manage BOM in WISE and SAP Environments
o Create and maintain DFMEAs for new products
o Generate conceptlevel designs in CAD (Creo or similar) especially with injection molded plastic parts
o Produce Analyses during the development process to suppor the design: FEA, simulations
o Fluent English
o Good working knowledge of engines and fuel systems
o Solid working knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles – structural design, fluid dynamics, component manufacturing methods, DFM
o Min 2 years of experience in a Product Development role, preferably in Automotive or similar
o Min 2 years of experience in designing and developing new components, modules, or systems for the Automotive industry, or similar
o Min 2 years experience in designing plastic components and/or assemblies
o Minimum Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline
