Job Description

Serve as the Professional and Technical Services Division Manager for a services support contract for a federal agency. Reports directly to the Program Manager and acts as the secondary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on programs/projects and contract management procedures and controls, planning and directing project execution, and monitoring and reporting progress. Manage and control all aspects of the assigned task orders.

  • Provide leadership and assistance to Supervisors and team members. Provide technical direction and work-related advice. Oversee, review and direct the actions of their team members' assignments and projects. Assist team supervisors in meeting goals and deliverable deadlines. Manage the communication and facilitate interdepartmental cooperation and shared work.

  • Establish policies for the proper filing, documentation and handling of all department personnel training records and requirements. Ensure staff is properly trained and prepared for their work. Manage turnover and vacancies through proper selection and motivation procedures.

  • Assist the Program Office in monthly and yearly contract deliverables to the government customer.

  • Analyze, develop, track and report on task orders.

  • Develop risk mitigation actions at the program level.

  • Develop quality assessment and assurance procedures at the program level

  • Execute, based on the awarded task order, the best utilization of corporate team member personnel resources at the program level.

  • Perform liaison duties among corporate entities, corporate team members, and government representatives.

Required Skills

  • Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status.

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain eligibility for a National Agency Check w/Inquires and favorably complete a FBI Fingerprint Check.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related degree

  • Shall be experienced in the management of Professional service contractors

  • Shall have exceptional written and oral communication skill

  • Must have excellent Briefing/Presentation Preparation skills, including working with Power Point; Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Shall possess demonstrated skills in project management.

  • Shall possess exceptional writing and analytical skills to develop and/or revise technical order procedures, directives and instructions.

  • Must proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and with Adobe Professional.
