Instructor / Writer (915A) Automotive Maintenance will train Warrant Officers in accordance with DA Pam 611-21, Military Occupational Classification and Structure. Instructor/Writers shall provide platform and hands on training for 915A Warrant Officers in accordance with approved Programs of Instruction (POI). Instructor/writers shall deliver additional or reinforcement training to students as required. Instructor / Writer shall recommend red-line edits to lesson plans, Program of Instruction (POI), and Training Support Plans (TSP), grade tests, update tests, plan, provide remedial assistance to students, and input student grades into the Digital Training Management System (DTMS).
Knowledge and experience in Tracked Vehicle Fire Control Systems; Tracked Vehicle Hull and Turret maintenance operations on the M109A6 Howitzer; M1A1 and M1A2 family of vehicles (including the M1A2 SEP V2); M2A2/M3A2 BFV, and MLRS Hull.
Knowledge of maintenance operations of Army Wheeled Vehicles; Small Arms maintenance management; Track and Wheel Vehicle Recovery Operations.
Successfully completed ABIC, SCTC and IFSC.
Automated Systems Approach to Training (ASAT).
Proficient with MS office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Outstanding communicative skills (verbal and nonverbal).
High School diploma/ GED equivalency.
Knowledgeable of all applicable regulations and doctrine regarding military instructor/ trainer and staff and faculty training; TRADOC Regulations 350-6, 350-10 and 350-70.
Three years in teaching or reviewing course materials, training aids, and manuals for vocational or military training programs.
Ability to obtain a CAC and pass a background check
